star50 tpng What cable do i need to get HD on my computer monitor? IT has HDMI AND so does my graphics card?I guess I am a Mac after all…
By Harry Austin
I recently made the switch from PC to Mac, and I can say that I’m not sure why I waited so long. Considering that I have only had my computer a few weeks I can’t say much about the durability and longevity of the hardware, but I can say that the operating system (mine shipped with Lion) and software is top notch.

Packaging:
Very impressed with the packaging. I was very impressed how well this thing was packaged. A well thought-out design protects the content and minimizes customer dissatisfaction.

HDMI cable is the way to go. You can find cheaper ones these days. I live in Canada and find cables for low as $10.

You can take a look at Google Image search to see how it looks like or you can ask the rep at any computer or tech stores.

you need a hdmi cable to connect the two together

You would use an HDMI cable but your question seems to imply that there is no HD source such as a cable box, satellite box, etc.

Your computer screen resolution can already display HD (most likely) just by using a regular digital cable between your video card and monitor.
