Check Out HD Monitor Reviews Here

Looking for a cheaper alternative to buying an expensive lcd hd tv.
The laptop is a Dell Inspiron, and I’m debating whether I should just buy a lcd hd tv to connect to it when I want to use it for the computer or whether I should buy a flat screen computer monitor and try to hook it up so that I can receive hd tv on it. If I chose that latter, how could I not only watch tv on a computer monitor, but also connect some sort of hd antenna in order to receive hd quality? And is there a difference between a computor monitor that is just a flat screen or one that says that it is hd compatible?

star40 tpng How do I connect a computer monitor to a laptop and be able to watch hd tv on it?Does lots of stuff, hard to set up
By M. Strahan
I bought this camera for my sister, who just had a new baby. I wanted a wireless web came with two way audio, so that she could take it from room to room. I couldn’t find a simple wireless webcam, so I bought this thing, which does way more than I wanted. Luckily, I like gadgets, and this is one neat gadget. However, its very difficult to setup if you want to use some of its advanced capabilities. Since the manual does not give very good instructions, I’ll try to describe the basic things you need to do to set it up, as well as provide an overview of what it does. Do not buy this camera if you are not comfortable configuring your router. Someone who doesn’t have basic networking skills would probably give this camera one star.

You’d think that a security camera would get Internet security right. This one doesn’t even try.

not likely you will be able to do that if your laptop and monitor are not HD ready and do not have hdmi or the composite cable hookups.

By HDTV, I’m assuming that you have some sort of Tivo-like device that you have the files saved to, such as AVI or DIVX files.

Anyways, to hook up your monitor to your PC laptop, take the VGA/DVI cord coming out of the monitor and plug it into your laptop’s port. (You may need to get an adapter to switch from VGA to DVI. If you have an Apple laptop, you either have miniDVI or DVI.)

For your PC:
Go to your desktop, right click and click ‘Properties’ There is a tab there that enables your secondary monitor. Click the checkbox that says “Extend my desktop to this monitor” then click OK at the bottom.

For your Apple:
Go to Apple up in the left corner, click on System Preferences. Then click displays, and from this screen, you can detect displays attached to the laptop.

Hope this helps!

You probably have your best option already which is to watch them on you computer. If your TV is not HD ready, then it doesn’t matter what the feed is, you will not get the HD resolution.
