I recently bought a benq 21.5″ full hd monitor. link : http://www.umart.com.au/pro/products_listnew.phtml?id=10&id2=143&bid=2&sid=34396 and I was wondering, I run my ps3 off it (HDMI) @ “full” hd and I can’t really see a big diffrence between this and a normal screen. Is the monitor not good quality or have I been suckered by the hype?

Well, it depends on what your “normal screen” is.
If your “normal screen” is an HDTV set that can do 1080p, of course you won’t see much of a difference.
in my experience, it’s tough to appreciate the quality of “full hd” without a screen at least twice that size, and i’m a bit of a videophile. so i can understand that (assuming your “normal screen” is an crt display with component hook ups?) that you’d see little difference, with or without “full” 1080p.
to answer your question, the specs of that monitor look pretty solid. 21.5 is a decent size, but again relatively small as far as hd displays go. you probably could have paid a skooch less, but i wouldn’t necessarily say “suckered.” you’ll get much use out of that screen, wether you use it just with the ps3 or hook a computer to it, so i’m sure you’ll get your money’s worth
